Las Cruces is a poor neighborhood of Bogotá. By following some of these inhabitants, we plunge with them into an intense world where violence meets hope and joy.

In a near future, the villages of a Sub-Saharan area have all been deserted. Mad and disabled people as well as child soldiers are the only ones who remain on those dry lands. In this survival atmosphere, relationships are harsh.

I surveyed the territory around the airport area of Paris-Charles de Gaulle. I cross interchanges, the airport, building sites, fields, villages, a detention center, a burned street, the N104 national road under renovation, a motorcycle racing track, the traces of an evacuated roma camp, warehouse docks…

The roofs of A86 North, exit 10 are above-ground platforms, words and silhouettes inhabit them. They're like neighborhood bar counters, areas to explore, workshops, film sets. Above the standard of living, facing the space, eclectic people take the air, have fun, confide. The places are calm, no need to speak loudly. They and they tell unique stories, many stories.
