There's Always Next Season

Nikolai and Vegard were childhood friends who spent their free time on the ski slopes. Now, Nikolai has become a professional skier, while Vegard lives in caves and trains obsessively to complete a perilous and physically demanding ski tour. This is a story about friendship and setting ambitious goals.

Gustav (15) is vegan and straight edge in 90s Umeå. One night, he follows his friend Zeke, full of hatred against the meat industry, to the town's slaughterhouse with gasoline-filled bottles. It will be a night that changes Gustav forever.

Bukta Sessions is a series of live music videos, documentary-style, offering unique locations and a regional focus. It is initiated by the local music festival, "Bukta", and directed by Carl Christian Lein Størmer. The project has involved all aspects of the music scene, from artist to stage, captured unique moments, and through a musical prism unveiled big and small peculiarities in the Northern Norwegian soul and history.

1997 Forever is a snowboard odysse which has been 20 years in the making with music written specially for the 43 minutes of pure snowboard magic on screen.

Based entirely on found footage, the film conveys the story of the Norwegian band Hangface as they move to Los Angeles in the early 2000's to take on the music world with legendary producer Eddie Kramer (Zeppelin, Beatles, Stones). Accompanying them is a mini-DV camera, that 20 years later serves as a portal into the inner lives of five overly ambitious boys who were set on conquering the world.

A film shot entirely during six peak weeks as COVID-19 hits the world - and the small Arctic town of Tromsø. The filmmaker follows a group of individuals, that each in their own way are trying to grasp, interpret and cope with their existence being turned upside down. As apocalypse looms and one snow storm after another hits their town, their paths collide. What awaits on the other side?
