Marioneta is proud and wealthy Spaniard living in 1980s Quito, Ecuador. As she goes through her life, Marioneta encounters a diverse group of eccentric and ambitious women as they all navigate the ups and downs of love, family and cuys.

A wealthy woman travels to Ecuador to breed guinea pigs for profit, but her life is soon complicated by a mysterious stalker.

Frankelda, a mysterious phantom writer, with the help of her grumpy enchanted book, tells terrifying stories in which girls and boys have encounters with monsters that will make them face their deepest fears.

A gifted young writer in 19th-century Mexico journeys into her subconscious and comes face to face with characters from her own spooky stories.
