Barbara Van Looren is the lively, clever daughter of the well-known shipowner. For her, life is a breeze, even when she's kidnapped by Mike Cortez's men. A young journalist, Mercier, who tried to defend her and was forced to follow her, doesn't share her optimism and manages to escape. Barbara is sequestered because her father has caught wind of a diamond deal. If he renounces the customs action, his daughter will be returned to him. Mercier, with the help of a couple of loyal friends, discovers the instigator of the traffic, a member of the board of directors, and finds Barbara, still as petulant as ever.

Sexy Boom

Madame Arrieu is the owner of an apartment building in Paris, where she lives with her three respectful nieces. Then, Elvira, a lady who paints nudes, gets behind in her lodging payments. Elvira, wishing to impress a prospective customer from the United States, asks Mme. Arrieu to let her use her (better) apartment, to receive him - just for a couple of hours. The lady refuses, but then she must leave for a short spell... Temptation is too big.

In this French crime drama, a young man gets revenge upon the criminals who caused his grandfather to kill himself. Unfortunately, the fellow doesn't realize how bad the criminals are. Fortunately, a kindly hooker, who does know the crooks, saves him from the same fate.

La Polka des menottes

Elisabeth is persuaded to have killed her noisy upstairs neighbor, scientist Charles Magne. To save her, Mr. Matheu, Elisabeth's father, accuses himself while Pierrot, Elisabeth's fiancé gets rid of the body in order to save father and daughter. For his part, a gangster also believes he has killed the scientist but he gets shot down by a taxidermist, who runs for life. The girl, her daddy and her boyfriend also run away. But Magne is not dead. A bum is mistaken for him and a police inspector makes everyone believe that he is the one who shot the gangster. At the end of this crazy chain of events all the protagonists are reunited at the station house and everybody dances to express their relief.

FBI agent Jeff Gordon is responsible for tracking down counterfeiters. Owing to his suave ways and irresistible charm, he manages to extract information from women who are unaware of his intentions. His investigation leads him to the beautiful Wanda Ericson, whose ex-husband is being blackmailed, and eventually to the leader of the counterfeiting ring.

Fred Barker, an unmarried American who remained in France after heroically defending the country during the Second World War, runs the perfume factory in Grasse of his friend Carlo Ferelli, whose life he saved during the conflict. Fred has since adopted a little girl, Cathy. One day, he receives a visit from Félix Mercier, an old man who informs him that he has taken Cathy into his custody and that he will return her to him when Fred finds his granddaughter Hélène, a 17-year-old teenager who accuses the factory of being a front for white slavery. Fred, dumbfounded, sets out to find Hélène, so he can quickly get Cathy back.

La Dernière Bourrée à Paris

Young Berthe, deeply moved by a cinema screening of the notoriously sultry Le Dernier Tango à Paris, goes to the address where most of the action takes place, a building overlooking the Bir-Hakeim Bridge metro station. Reality suddenly seems to mimic fiction when she discovers not only an apartment advertised for rent, but also a man prostrate in a corner who seems to be waiting for her. Hoping for the same torrid embrace as in the film, she discovers that he is in fact preoccupied only by the apartment's defects. Attempting to embark on a passionate affair, she learns that the man suffers from libido problems.

Tartarin de Tarascon

A well-to-do bourgeois, Tartarin lives in Tarascon, a small southern town, among friends who, like him, love hunting "à la casquette", gossip, aperitifs and thought-provoking journeys. Imaginative like all his compatriots, Tartarin ended up believing he had once been to Shanghai, so fervently did he recount his illusory adventures. It was even rumored that Tartarin was about to leave for Africa to hunt wild beasts, and this was so insistent that the brave man, urged on by his friends, was forced "for the sake of honor" to embark. He arrives in Casablanca, surprised to discover a modern city and not a single lion. But a charming Moorish woman, Baïa, seduces him, and Tartarin indulges in the "delights of Capua". This euphoria is short-lived: Baïa disappears, a false prince, mostly a swindler, finds a replacement and sets off on a hunting expedition in southern Morocco, which will only earn Tartarin the loss of his savings and a blind old lion dragged along by two beggars.
