The film tells the story of a man whose life changes because of the sacrifice he makes for his brother. Orhan is preparing for his wedding with his fiancée Sevim. His brother Mete, however, is planning to rob the company he works for with a gang. However, Mete regrets his actions and decides to abandon the robbery. But the gang members force Mete to participate in the robbery on the night of the wedding. Mete seizes an opportunity to inform his brother about the robbery. Orhan leaves the wedding and goes to his brother's company. Mete's mistake will change Orhan's entire life.

Murat was very young when his parents separated. He left his father's mansion with his mother and never saw him again. Abdullah, who is accused of opposing the government, continues his discussions in prison. The police chief, who is disturbed by this situation, tries every means possible to have Abdullah executed.

The film deals with Osman's crisis of faith. Osman returns to his country from Germany, where he went to study engineering. His father, İhsan Bey, wants Osman to take over the factory and marry his fiancée Fatma as soon as possible. However, Osman opposes this decision, stating that he rejects everything traditional. During his time in Europe, Osman has forgotten his own culture. When he returns to his country, his father, unable to accept Osman's European lifestyle, kicks him out of the house. Osman returns to Germany and begins living with his former girlfriend Helga. One day, Helga's father asks Osman questions about Islam. These questions will remind Osman of the values he had forgotten.

Kenan is brought up by his foster father, Azmi Bey. As he grows up, he falls in love with Azmi Bey's beautiful daughter Nalan. Nalan is diagnosed by Pleurisy, which leads to a series of tragic event.
