M'sieur la Caille

A legionnaire, Georges, promised his friend, who died of a snake-bite, to marry Catherine, the girl with whom he had a child. Back in France, the young soldier goes in search of Catherine. The girl he finds is a dumb puritan; in spite of his disappointment, he keeps his promise and asks for her hand. At the last moment, in the town-hall, he discovers the girl he is to marry is not the true Catherine. So he leaves his fiancee and heads for Paris where the true girl works as a cabaret dancer. But the deserted fiancee is not prepared to accept it.

An American journalist working for a French newspaper is writing an article on the public reaction to those with AIDS, unaware that he too is infected. Once he finds out, he decides to go into reclusion, leaving his wife and daughter.

Five highly-trained KGB agents are sent to the west to assassinate several Soviet dissidents. In order to stop the diabolical plot, an American agent must infiltrate Soviet intelligence and obtain information from a Russian computer.

In Saigon, the heads of the French counter-espionage network replace the secretary of dangerous traffickers with one of their agents to uncover a trade in bacteriological bombs.
