Pietje Bell, the famous boy from Rotterdam, goes chicken hunting with his friends Peentje and Engeltje, but they are pursued by a police officer who, despite Aunt Cato's protests, takes them to the police commissioner. Pietje and his friends manage to talk their way out of it. Pietje performs a circus show with his friends Peentje and Engeltje, which is disrupted by a fire when one of Pietje's tricks goes wrong.

Mrs. Blank visits her lawyer Karels to request his assistance with a matter. She is a niece of Baroness de Hagen. They are accused of witchcraft and are in danger of being burned at the stake.

When Dik Trom sees that Old Kee is evicted from her house because she can’t pay the rent, he decides to make sure she can stay. When the circus comes to the village, he competes for the first prize by staying on a bucking donkey.

A poor shoemaker and his wife inherit a farm in the southern province of Limburg. However, the farm has been heavily mortgaged by local real estate agent Bol who is planning to get his hands on the land -- which will soon be mined and therefore worth a fortune. With the help of their trusty German Shepherd Tarzan, the shoemaker's four young nephews decide to do something about it.

George and Jimmy travel all the way to Taskara. A rich Chinese man wants them to bring back the rare mineral OQ-4. But Taskara is inhabited by giants and, unfortunately, crooks Boris and Pedro are sniffing around too.

Dik Trom hears that Oude Kee no longer has any money to buy food. Dik and his friends decide to help her and collect money for a small organ with which she can earn a living. They also give her some money, but it is stolen by Oude Kee's cousin. Dik wouldn't be Dik if he didn't catch the rascal after many exciting chases.
