Gadir, who wants to send his daughter to a festival in Baku and needs money, has to accept Amrulla's offer and pawns his shop. As a result, the job is not done and Gadir loses his shop.

The events took place in the early 19th century on the eve of the fall of the Azerbaijani khanates. The events coincided with the period of the division of Azerbaijan into two.
