Lucky for Us!

Short Deeds were a challenge for a generation of filmmakers. The project had its rules which had to be followed by the screenwriters, directors and their six teams: three pages of script, action in a pulled-over car with no more than three actors, shot in one day, a twist in the plot, and to be featured in each story – a parting.

Drago Habjan is a pigeon breeder of the old school. At the age of six, when he saw his first carrier pigeon, he fell in love with pigeons for life. In Drago's words, a pigeon is a mister. And so is Drago. He understands pigeons, and pigeons understand him. The film shows harmony and love difficult to find. It is about love, solitude, anger, loneliness and sadness of a single being. Mister Pigeon.

Long married couple lives in the old red Škoda on the top of the hill. They live happily till one day, out of the blue, a blue Škoda passes. This is when the man finds out they are not synchronised anymore.
