Holy Days

Liza is a sophisticated woman who lives in a ‘high class world’. Her husband Peter speaks Russian with a German accent, he owns a chocolate factory. They live in a cold world of minimalistic interiors, holding back their emotions. There are no children in their expensive countryside house but there are expensive greyhound dogs. However, Liza can’t stay stone cold calm, as she has a secret from her past that burns her from inside, one that she would be happy to get rid of forever… And somewhere near there is a burnt room, and teenager Ulya has the keys.

A satirical mockumentary that explores how war turns into a convenient backdrop for self-promotion, with sensitive topics becoming a mere tool for the filmmakers’ careers.

Audiovisual performance becomes a space for dialogue between composer Vladimir Martynov and young electronic musicians.

A short film based on the poem "IT'S WINTER" by Ilia Mazo. The film is set in dramatized kitchens and bathrooms, against the backdrop of household appliances that act as musical instruments. The film is an attempt to show what usually remains behind the scenes - loneliness, a magical moment and quiet human singing in response.
