Timur dreams of being a special rapper — like his idol Morgenstern, with whom he recently struck up a real friendship. But he is a special "Wild" without that: because of the terrible diagnosis, he has been in a wheelchair since childhood, and doctors give him few chances. While relaxing by the sea, Timur and his mother receive an invitation to shoot a TV show on one of the federal channels. The editors promise that it will be a positive program about overcoming life's difficulties. Timur, inspired, together with his mother and a couple of friends, fly to Moscow. But the reality turns out to be tougher than their expectations of the trip.

The official investigation hit the dead-end while dozens of private investigators and researchers around the world are proposing new versions of what had actually happened ranging from runaway prisoners’ attack to yeti involvement, from secret military tests to aliens. One of them is mountaineer and traveler Teodora Hadjiyska.

Makulatura [which means both scrap paper and pulp fiction in Russian] is a duo of poets Evgeniy Alyokhin and Konstantin Speransky, who have been performing together since 2003. Blending classic literature references, mind-bending introspection, musings on modern love and an ironic attitude to their act, they create what faithful fans and listeners call “existential rap.” The film follows Makulatura on tour through several Russian cities.

Anya is a 43-year-old single mother living in Moscow. By day, she scans barcodes at the warehouse of an online retailer to make a living, and the rest of her time is devoted to her two young sons. Every summer, the city shuts off hot water for several days to test the pipes and prepare for the harsh winter ahead. During one of these periods, love and the warmth of a long-forgotten youth suddenly return to Anya’s life like an unexpected rush of hot water after a long wait. However, this awakening soon gives way to a new coldness and bitterness.

People born in Russia in 1917 tell about their fate. Deep personal memories of long-livers add up to the history of the country of the last century.

The young Montenegrin Kabir lives in Moscow with the Russian girl Nastya, the daughter of a Modern Art Gallery owner. Professional collaboration – installation of exhibitions, meeting guests, communication with customers – are the only things that now connect a couple being in crisis. One day Kabir disappears. He returns home to the coast of Kotor Bay. By and by, he is forgetting the Russian language, and Moscow, and the metropolitan art circuit seams nothing but a dream…
