The Barber of Seville

Giovanni Ferretti leaves his wife and son and sets off in search of fortune abroad. His brother manages to turn around the company's fortunes and secure a future for his nephew Riccardo, who falls in love with Elisabetta, a divorced Hungarian woman who threatens to jeopardize the family unit, but an unexpected encounter with his father, who has returned in miserable condition, convinces him to give up eloping with the woman.

A comedy with lots of Neapolitan songs and shots of the Bay of Naples finds Maria Morelli unable to marry her singing sailor/lover, Giacomo because her father, Don Salvatdore Morelli objects. She can't elope because her father has an heart ailment and uses it to hold Maria. Giacomo misunderstands and takes off on a global singing tour.

A mysterious horseman, called the Dark Knight, sets himself up as a masked vigilante and decides to free the duchet of Valgrado from the grip of a terrible tyrant.

Rik Battaglia is sent by the king of France to the border with Spain, where the heirs to the throne are staying in a castle-fortress. The Spaniards and Arabs struggle to control the border, while the Moorish Princess (Chelo Alonso) discovers she is not who she thought she was.

This story took place during World War II. A group of Italians living in London are raising funds to rebuild a Catholic cathedral that was bombed by the Nazis. To this end, they organized a concert, the proceeds of which would go toward the construction. The project was led by journalist Carlo Scala. He faced and overcame many difficulties in organizing the event, but he handled them with honor, and the performance by leading Italian singers took place. He was assisted in this by the incomparable Dora Scala.

Little Luigi, the son of Guido and Elena, has a strange illness. To save him, they must inject his blood into a healthy person with his same blood type in order to create antibodies the fight off the infection.

Carlo Savelli, gone missing after the war, returns to Italia after many years. His wife Anna, believing him dead, has established a romance with Andrea, and in order to keep him happy, she follows him to Venice.

A landowner loves a good girl, but is ensnared by another richer woman who is actually aiming for her fortune. This she will be able to temporarily make the two young men go away but the man makes his girlfriend understand that her is true love; he realizes that he has been the victim of a scam and will bring the woman he has always loved to the altar.

A widow goes to Italy from South Africa to find out whether or not her late husband's five nephews are worthy of his inheritance...

The film is composed of five episodes which depict Italians' love lives in the 1960s.
