Mukhabbat, an Uzbek immigrant, works at a convenience store on the outskirts of Moscow. Just like the rest of the immigrants at the store, she is forced to work without getting paid and endure mental and physical abuse, until she overcomes her fear one day and takes her fate into her own hands.

The story of a son who is secretly in love and a lonely, hard-working father. Each leads his own life – until one sultry summer day, their courses collide with a shock.

Sasha is a school leaver from a small town. He pretends to be an ordinary bully in the company of his classmates not to be bullied himself and to have the opportunity to see Lisa. At home Sasha is a greedy for knowledge guy. He dreams of leaving his small town but several barriers stand in his way.

Yelena is an activist fighting for the rights of cotton pickers. Mukhabbat is a farmer struggling with the hardships of rural life... COTTON 100% is a story of two strong women facing the challenges of a society where forced labor is a norm.

The heroine of the film is a young woman from Uzbekistan, fleeing from store slavery and dreaming of returning her son.

Mirtemir is growing up in Nukus, a dusty city caught between the desert and the dead Aral Sea. His mother has moved away to earn money in a neighboring country Kazakhstan, and Tima lives with his blind grandmother. He waits tables at a fast-food joint during the day and entertains people at a mobile karaoke by night. Days full of hard work and responsibility, too demanding even for an adult, are nonetheless full of joy and adolescent bliss.
