An erotically charged thriller composed of three short films. “In Our Darkest Moments” mixes wry humor and tense drama as it chronicles the sleazy exploits of a hunky, closeted married man who cruises seedy bookstores and sex dens. He begins an affair with a dangerous teenager, unaware of the disastrous effects it will have on his life. “In the Dark, Softly”, directed by Joe Rubin, is a love story (of sorts), chronicling a young man's obsession with a local serial killer. And in the final film, “In Deep”, the police are trying to catch a murderer who preys on lonely men and then offs them with his extraordinarily large appendage. Maybe this killer is more than he seems.

Father Knows... is a bittersweet comedy-drama that tells the story of Love Family and personal estrangements spanning over 15 years in the life of what seem like a simple American Family. Not so. In this funny and erotic mockumentary, director Toby Ross takes an out of the box look at homosexuals - dividing them into two major groups: those who are into it for the sex and those who are looking for relationships. Rebel, outlaw, porn pioneer: FINDING PLANET PORNO tells the story of filmmaker Howard Ziehm, whose MONA THE VIRGIN NYMPH was the first explicit feature film to be distributed in the US in 1970 - at a time when the production of pornography was still illegal. He later made the cult science fiction sex parody FLESH GORDON, whose production was plagued by battles against the law, an acute lack of money and other problems. The documentary approaches Howard's story on a personal level, and through his eyes and those of his companions it paints a thrilling portrait of an unusual person - and a time that brought about great social change. But what is left of it all?

The peaceful order of the Sisters of No Mercy are forced to avenge the murder of one of their own when an evil priest and his co-hort 'Saint' Theresa use the order as a cover for drugs and prostitution. Sisters of No Mercy spoofs nunsploitation movies while melding movie making techniques with modern socio-political overtones and Internet found footage to create a viewing experience of meta-awareness. Sisters of No Mercy chronicles our madcap adventures as we try and nurture and develop the community needed to sustain our independent theatres and video stores here in Chicago. It's also an introduction to a little-known sub-genre of exploitation cinema called Nunsploitation. Sex! Violence! Nuns!
