Erik is a solitary woodcutter. Kevin is the young conductor of the village's cycling brass band. Erik never goes out without his old mare. Kevin is keen on the clarinetist. The clarinetist is crazy about horses. But Erik doesn't know how to give. And Kevin doesn't know how to flirt. They will both need to learn.

Where man showed the worst of what he was capable of, today he shows what great things he can do. In villages across Rwanda, a unique experience of justice is being born, supported by the association LIWOHA. Village communities in the Huye district are learning to face, together, the domestic and sexual violence undermining them, through a process of restorative justice. Farmers like Jean-Marie, Agnès, Evariste, Drocella, and others, have taken the leap and given tremendous hope to their community. Along the way, they actually raise a fundamental and universal question: what is the meaning of justice, and what can it do to help people regain their humanity and rebuild themselves in connection with their community?
