The Perfect Girl

My Date with a Vampire is a 1998 Hong Kong television series produced by ATV. The story is based on the future events of the plot of Vampire Expert, a similar two-season television drama aired on ATV in 1995 and 1996. It blends aspects of the jiangshi with those of western vampires, while injecting elements of Chinese mythology and modern horror legends. The series is a tribute to Lam Ching-ying, the lead actor of Vampire Expert and a prominent cast member in the Mr. Vampire franchise, who died of liver cancer in 1997. It was followed by My Date with a Vampire II (2000) and My Date with a Vampire III (2004).

A cartoonist accidentally killed his best friend, and came out with a creative way to dispose the body. He soon found that his best friend was sleeping with his girlfriend, and drawn the attention of a serial killer.

In the entertainment industry, Xing Tian is known as a blood sucking demon boss. In his totalitarian talent agency, the artists are sucked dry and the support staffs are worked to death... at least according to the rumor mill where Tiao Tiao heard it from. A case of kidnapping and mistaken identity turned these two strangers into fast friends. And a strange pair they are: A 40-something year-old high-power talent agency executive and a 20 year-old hotheaded director wannabe.

Reluctantly, the kids scramble to find that true love they have missed all their lives.
