Ahmet supports his elderly mother by driving a taxi. He is a trusted and beloved member of his neighborhood. Ahmet helps a woman who gets into his car escape from a gang. Later, gang members who catch Ahmet find out where the young woman is. The woman is killed during a commotion in a hotel room. The gang knocks Ahmet unconscious and leaves him there, then reports the incident to the police. The only way Ahmet can prove his innocence is to flee. However, this adventure will lead to new losses.

Zehra's brother Hüsnü and the factory accountant Namık hatch a plan to rob the factory. They decide to rob the factory's treasurer. They agree with two more workers from the factory to help them. During the robbery, something goes wrong. Hüsnü kills the treasurer and one of the workers and escapes. Nazif Usta, who was at the factory at the time, is arrested at the scene and sentenced to death in court. However, Burhan will try to find the culprits to save his father.

They come upon a lonely blind girl one night, befriend her, and take her in as their guest, pretending they are rich. They learn that 800 lira will cure her blindness. One of the three decides to get the money by any means necessary, because he has fallen in love with her.

An example of social realism in Turkish cinema, the story follows a bus driver who takes side of the poor who has been exploited by a rich man with the promise of making new apartments for them.

Based on a comic novel, this Turkish fantasy movie shows some resemblance to Casper.
