West Berlin, December 1971: Several hundred trainees, students, young workers and young people who had run away from institutions occupied the Georg-von-Rauch-Haus, a building of the empty Bethanien Hospital in Kreuzberg. They want to shape their living and leisure situation themselves. The film was made by a film collective together with the young people and shows what has happened in the Georg-von-Rauch-Haus since the occupation.

A nurse abandoned by her lover and a laid-off worker give themselves over to the hustle and bustle of the big city in their loneliness and search for communication. A telephone misconnection causes them to meet for a few minutes, only to lose each other again immediately.

Just as Mom is pondering the whereabouts of his urn, Dad, who was declared dead, stands at the door! He just wanted to check that everything was okay... The way Dad's unexpected return reopens old wounds in the family that has grown up without him is beautifully true to life.

After his company went bankrupt, hobby musician Erik toured furniture stores on behalf of a furniture company to advertise their products. A task that would be easy to accomplish if it weren't for the criminal brother who steals some furniture and promptly ends up in jail again. Georg Wilsberg is an antiquarian in Münster. He used to be a lawyer but lost his license. Since then he has been working as a private detective. The always clammy Wilsberg urgently needs this income. In addition, he depends on the support of his friends, especially because of the car.

Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.
