This documentary gives a voice to autistic teenagers who invite us into their imaginary worlds. Through their creations, the film offers an illuminating look at difference and reveals rich universes far removed from the clichés associated with the diagnosis.

Fearing for their lives, Afshin, Alain and Patricia fled their country, without their parents, when they were only children. They had to start all over here in Canada in the hope of a better life. Combining real shooting and animated cinema, "Alone" bears the imprint of hope: how does a child manage to rebuild himself in a new country, when he has left everything behind?

I was born in a refugee camp in Thailand and arrived in Montreal (Canada) at the age of one with my parents. In August 2010, I went to Cambodia for the first time, the country my father hadn't returned in 30 years. Everybody told me that it would change my life, that I was finally going to find the answers to all my questions. Things didn't happened the way we expected them.

Four Montreal dancer-choreographers facing the challenge of aging. Erin Flynn, José Navas, Louise Bédard and Paul-André Fortier talk about how they deal with their changing bodies and the demands of the artistic world. As they answer the question "As an artist, what have you gained with age?", we discover how they deal with the challenges of aging with kindness, humility and creativity.
