The Mighty One

The film tells the story of Lola and Cindy. Lola is a lonely child who, along with her gang members, always gathers and walks on the streets of Blok M, where the youths are. Meanwhile Cindy is forced to become a prostitute to meet the needs of her family. Lola awares of Cindy situation and befriends her.

Syachrin has become a producer and is making a film titled “Assoy”. During a birthday party of Mrs. Lies, Hetty sings a song that was composed specially by Syachrin for his wife, and this helps them to meet. The film uses songs, top singers, and a touching story, to repeat the successful formula that started with the film Terang Boelan. The singers Elvy Sukaesih, Lies Saodah, and Mansjur are popular Dangdut singers of the time, while Hetty Koes Endang was a rising pop singer. The appearance of the comedy Surya Group was designed as an added attraction, though it becomes more of a distraction.

Arya Dwipangga (Baron Hermanto) is disturbing the kingdom of Majapahit in order to wreak revenge on Kamandanu (Sandy Nayoan), while the kingdom assumes that the troublemaker if Mpu Bajil (Wingky Haroen), who is preoccupied with learning the teachings of Aji Segara Geni. As a part of this training, he has already bathed in the blood of seven child descendents of warriors. He is now planning to kidnap the nephew of Kamandanu, Panji (Sawung Sembadha), the child of Dwipangga and Ratih (see Tutur Tinular). A battle ensues between Bajil and Kamandanu, who has been instructed by the king to bring back Bajil’s head.

Babe Cabita, a radio broadcaster in Medan, has a lot of fans. But Well, honey, working on a small radio so it is not growing. Fatiya, Babe's girlfriend, suggested Babe stop working on the radio and become a regular employee in his uncle's office.Despite his heavy heart, Babe follows Fatiya's advice to undergo an interview at Fatiya's uncle's office. During the search, Babe met Abdur, a friend from overseas who was trying his luck to become a comedian at the Stand Up Comedy event.

Anglingdarma (Baron Hermanto), the ruler of his homeland, acquires the magical ability to understand the language of animals, but is forbidden to share the secret of how to do this with anyone. Unfortunately, one night, when Anglingdarma is making love with his wife, he overhears some humorous remarks being made by two house lizards in the room, and bursts out laughing. His wife becomes very angry, and after Anglingdarma explains what happened, his wife demands that he teach her how to do the same thing. Anglingdarma refuses to reveal the secret. His wife, who believes that he does not love her anymore, decides to burn herself to death.

Lestari stops teaching when she marries Rama who has returned from abroad. Lestari, who is an only child and an orphan, is infertile. One day she meets Shinta, her favorite student who cannot stand living with her stepmother, especially since her father, a drunken truck driver, died in an accident. Lestari invites Shanti to live with her. Then Rama’s parents bring Lestari to Tokyo for treatment as they still wish to have a grandchild. Rama and Shinta are left at home and begin to be intimate. Lestari is furious when she returns but she finally gives them her blessings as she cannot conceive. But due to a misunderstanding, Shinta runs away. Then Rama finds Shinta as a singer in a nightclub. Without Lestari’s knowledge, they consummate their love. Then Rama accuses Shinta of adultery and refuses to acknowledge the baby as theirs.

Lembong, a robber, raises Ken Arok in a dark world after finding him in a cemetery as a baby. Due to his outrageous behaviour, Ken Arok is expelled and has to live with Bango Samparan. Even this does not last long, when the wife of Samparan takes a dislike to him. Then Ken Arok also becomes a fugitive of the Emperor since he often plunders royal tributes. One day, he meets a priest, Loh Gawe, who provides him with skills of leadership. Meanwhile, the Regent of Tumapel, Tunggul Ametung, kidnaps Ken Dedes to make her his wife. Then Ken Arok is recruited as a soldier of Tumapel. Inside the palace, he sees Ken Dedes and immediately falls in love. The bad intention to kill Tunggul Ametung comes to his mind. Since Loh Gawe does not agree with his intention, Ken Arok gets an approval from his adoptive father, Bango Samparan. Shortly after, he orders a keris (a wavy knife) from Empu Gandring, a famous blade smith.
