A Story of the Spring Draft

Ekaterina Morozova is an ordinary secretary at Investigative Committee of a small town. She is quite a professional at dealing with her working routine and there are no problems she couldn’t solve. Except the prob- lems of her personal life.

St. Petersburg. Friends Lera, Valya, and Olya perform a mystical ritual for fun, and suddenly Catherine the Great herself materializes in the kitchen amidst the candles. The crowned empress quickly embraces the 21st century: she tries cappuccino, searches for the "Kareta" fare on a taxi app, and that night, she discovers a dance floor with a bang. The friends are delighted, until they notice that reality around them is beginning to shift.

Childless for many years, Tolya suddenly has three pregnant women on his hands: his wife Rita, his mistress Natasha, and a one-night stand, Milana. He decides to have all three live together with him under one roof.

No one in the administration even suspects that just a week ago Katerina Petrovna was a tequila girl. After a serious conversation with a local authority, the mayor drinks too much and falls into a coma. Now, Katerina is the acting mayor, as that same authority decided. Katerina plans to simply enjoy life in her new status, but everything changes when she meets Sergey, a young doctor who loves his job and his Lisyegorsk. The feelings that have arisen for Sergey motivate Katerina to take a close look at the provincial city and make it at least a little like the capital.
