Our hero is a barber in a small Mexican town, wooing a local senorita, against the wishes of her mother.

Toot Sweet!

Ham is interested in a girl named Marie and wants to impress her. First he buys a car and then he takes her out to a swanky nightclub. During the course of this disastrous date Ham realizes that Marie isn't the nice girl he thought she was: she only went out with him to make her real boyfriend jealous. The boyfriend is a dancer at the club, and when she sees him kissing his dance partner she becomes enraged and smashes up the place, while poor Ham is stuck with the bill.

Harold is a henpecked husband who suddenly makes a change of front and asserts himself, much to his wife's astonishment.

However, she is in love with Horace, a wrestler, and Bill gets a world's championship match with him in hopes of securing the needed-boardinghouse bill, and the hand of the daughter of the house.

Alice, an employee who is chosen by her coworkers to represent them at a banquet honoring her boss's new partner. Tasked with giving a speech and presenting a "loving cup" as a token of esteem, Alice becomes overwhelmed by her high-society surroundings. Her nervousness leads to a series of comedic blunders and a "terrible fall" during her act, though the situation is eventually salvaged.

Mr. Buggs is an insect collector. A beautiful and mysterious Asian woman (the lovely Anna May Wong) brings him a rare specimen, but she is actually a wanted thief who has stolen a valuable brooch.

Harold Lloyd plays a troublemaker who messes up with strangers and cops along the way. During the confusion he takes a trolley to escape, falling in love with a female collector who doesn't care much about him and he also annoys the trolley conductor. But it seems that odds and luck will be on his favor.

Stage hand Harold falls in love with the leading lady of a visiting theatrical troupe.

The Lady

A young woman marries the wastrel son of a British aristocrat. Her husband, who has been disinherited by his father, loses what little money he has left gambling in casinos and then dies, leaving her penniless and with an infant son. When her former father-in-law tries to get custody of the child, she leaves him with a couple she trusts, but when she later goes to reclaim her son, she can't find the people she left him with.
