In 1937, eight hundred Chinese soldiers fight under siege from a warehouse in the middle of the Shanghai battlefield, completely surrounded by the Japanese army.

When the Sun begins to expand in such a way that it will inevitably engulf and destroy the Earth in a hundred years, united mankind finds a way to avoid extinction by propelling the planet out of the Solar System using gigantic engines, moving it to a new home located four light years away, an epic journey that will last thousands of years.

An interstellar spacecraft was accidentally trapped in the Stargate Abyss. Only 4 of the 15 passengers were able to enter the hibernation cabin and get a chance to survive. His uncle claims that anyone who beats the game would open the door of time travel. Lee’s life dramatically changed when Wang Qian steps into his life. Wang Qian also suffers from TPD so she understands Lee more than anyone else does. Their romance blooms and the two decide to be together. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes and the happy days end abruptly. Wang Qian is killed in a traffic accident after Lee quarrelled with her. Lee’s world collapses. Feeling extremely guilty and desperate, he suddenly comes up with a crazy idea: Beat the video game his uncle left, open the door to time travel and save his girl. From that point on Lee embarks on an amazing journey.

Movie is set during a period of time when Japanese invaded China. The story is told from Gao's perspective, a soldier seeking revenge from the Japanese in trying to assassinate the visiting Japanese chief in command. In the process of plotting such scheme, he had a chance encounter with a local Mafia, lead by its charismatic leader Fang. Fang had a bandit of followers, of which one is Fang's sister. Fang in the past have rescued many of these followers using his own blood and as a result all the members in the bandit formed a life long bond and friendship. When Gao realizes he could use the firearms and man power of Fang's bandit, he sets up a scheme to get captured by Fang on purpose. When Fang found out - he was extremely angry and upset and almost killed Gao, but Gao is saved by Fang's sister because she clearly developed feelings for Gao after seeing how he fared during the interrogation phases when he was in Fang's capture.

Crew members from the spacecraft "Pathfinder" are accidentally stranded in an alien desert and must make their way back to the ship to save themselves and any other survivors. But their accident conceals a great secret...
