Casting the same five actors in each episode, the film depicts the shifting roles of race and gender over time against the backdrop of the seemingly endless human struggle for power and domination. During a training exercise Frank White and his team are ambushed by former Soviet soldiers. Frank is kidnapped and a North Korean scientist attempts to brainwash him while his team tries to locate him. Later Frank has to go undercover with a group of eco terrorists to protect his commanders daughter who has joined the group. Frank realizes that there is a traitor in the group and must try to find out who it is, while finding the group is suspecting him.

Rob Greene has information about an undercover terror team inside the CIA led by Joe Connelly. To stay alive with the knowledge, he is advised to stay undercover by his supervisor Andrews. Connelly's men try to kill Greene, but he can escape and warns his son Danny that he also may be in danger and that he should look for Dog Thompson.
