In Arizona during the Civil War, a woman is accused of witchcraft, tied to a horse and left to die in the desert. One hundred years later, the descendants of the woman's accusers start being killed off, and the townspeople suspect the woman has come back as an evil spirit.

Having lost what little community support they once had, the Des Moines Vixens, an abysmally bad and extraordinarily unlucky women's professional basketball team, appear headed for extinction. Their prospects brighten, however, when the Vixens' new leadership, a florist and his dope-smoking son, use the profits from their new cash crop (marijuana) to develop the team. Still, if they want to remain in town, the female cagers must prove themselves against a military men's squad. The late NBA great "Pistol Pete" Maravich appears as a member of the Army team.

With the medical breakthrough of a metal-based synthetic skin called "bio-ferron" the prospect for pioneering surgeries for burn victims and cancer patients seems set to occur but for the warped head scientist in charge...it's a opportunist chance to reactivate a long forgotten classified project...that has been left frozen in a set of cryogenic chambers deep beneath the bowels of government laboratory. Convincing the other in the research team to start work on putting this living 'metal' skin on corpses, he now has the perfect test patients waiting on ice for them to work on. But there was a reason three of these stiffs in particular where left to chill. Due to an experiment gone bad these three only look human on the outside and none of them are as dead as everyone believes they are.

An electronics expert searching for evidence of aliens picks up signals that he believes are from an alien spacecraft--and they are coming from a lake near town.

The plot concerns two documentary film students who travel to a small, isolated town in the middle of nowhere to film a documentary about murders that occurred there. Soon they are stalked by someone who is afraid the students are getting to close to a close guarded secret in the town that led to the murders.

When an aspiring rock musician Tony returns to his college town to make up with his estranged girlfriend Rosemary, he finds his life taking an unexpected turn to the dark side when he encounters a mysterious rock band Neowolf led by rocker Vince and the alluring band girl Paula. When Rosemary's best friend Kevin turns up dead, Rosemary seeks out a nursery owner Mrs. Belakov who knows the secrets of an ancient evil.
