Algo do que Fica

Years after a rough separation, a couple meets again and travel to a wild region of Brazil that was once the scenery of their passion. Slowly they find out both have changed and must ask themselves if love has resisted the passage of time.

Every day of my life / in the center of the yard / I know that everything will come together

The dancer Dom walks elegantly with his polka-dotted scarf through the streets of downtown Goiânia while the director Benedito Ferreira continues his daily effort to observe and photograph the city. An attempt at a portrait, a brief dialogue, and suddenly the two of them sit in a bar to talk. From this chance encounter, a friendship is born and a plan for a final and grandiose flamenco dance show is born.

Eight-year-old Alice uses the television to cope with the crisis her country is through. When she watches "Peter Pan", she wishes to fly and she ends up turning herself into a cartoon.

Benedito Senna is blind. He moved from the Brazilian city of Belém to France, where he fell in love with and married Jean Luc, who is somewhat his eyes and a devoted reader of his poems. In Paris, he meets another Benedito, film director and also Brazilian and gay. A friendship starts, they exchange videos and voicemails. The shared name and the passion for images bring them back together, years later, to make a movie. As they set out to shoot, though, they realize things were no longer the same and differences arise.
