It Means That Much to Me

Two neighbors, Louis and Coralie, have been at war with each other for years because of their different origins, French and Reunionese. Their mutual hatred is not the only thing they have in common: they also adore their respective children, who secretly love each other.

Benjamin lives with his widowed father, a designer and a bohemian artist. Olivia, his best friend, lives with his divorced mother, a lawyer who lives only for his work. Children decide to organize a meeting between the two parents, but unfortunately, neither seems interested in the other. Still, the two friends did not give up and seek new ways for the emergence of love between their parents.

His wife Eurydice dreams of being a movie star. A perverse game between the two men ensues, with Almereyda wanting to please his wife, but reluctant to demand a role for Eurydice because of Bazin's reputation as an incorrigible seducer.

Usually cast as secret agent/private eye Lemmy Caution, Eddie Constantine plays "Eddie" in The Empire of Night. This time, Constantine is a cabaret singer at odds with a criminal gang. When the villains try to take over every nightclub in town for their own nefarious purposes, Eddie sings a new tune with his fists. The story takes several unexpected turns, but Constantine remains in charge throughout.
