Soledad is a famous singer who, one fine day, decides to turn her life around and enter a convent to help others. The press and her family are baffled: now, the great figure of Spanish singing has become Sister María de la Asunción and works caring for the sick in a hospital that has serious financial problems. At first, everything is difficult, but the intrepid nun manages to get ahead through courage and generosity.

Toledo, 1585. Samuel, a young Jewish goldsmith, falls in love with Catalina, daughter of Doménikos Theotokópoulos el Greco, a famous painter.

Clara, determined to earn her living and be valued for herself, leaves his rich father's home, changes her name and takes a room. While copying paintings at El Prado Museum, she meets Juan, who is also hiding his identity, pursued under charge of murder.

A girl has two suitors: a famous bullfighter who is in love and rejecting a pawn. His relationship with the bullfighter is hampered by the harassment to which he submits. After suffering a serious catch, the bullfighter lifesaving through the locket she gave him.

The Eternal Spain, birthplace of the Cid, Hammer of Heretics... and other deserved historical appellations, is suddenly transformed, through democratic elections, in a chaotic Tower of Babel where every province, every town, each village wants to have its own opinion. Comedy about the rise of nacionalism in the different Spanish regions with the arrival of democracy.

Miguel and Verónica meet in a plane and lie to each other about their true self: she tells him she's a secretary while she actually is the billionaire niece of a duchess, and he tells her he's a trumpet player while he is a Teutonic king. Eventually they fall in love, without knowing about each other's true identity, all of this while Miguel is being urged by his ministers to choose a wife of royal blood and get married as soon as possible, and a revolutionary group, one of which members is Verónica's brother, plans a terrorist attack against the king.

Like every night, Manuel remembers the old days of glory, when after the war he was a famous bullfighter. He and his friend Juan were the fashionable couple. Now Juan is a prominent businessman in bullfighting. But Manuel's feelings toward him have changed radically: an inexplicable hated seizes him when someone mentions his name. It has been more than twenty years since that afternoon, when Manuel was bullfighting and fell to the ground.

Eugenio asks his best friend, Federico, a wealthy lawyer, to take care of his son Titín while he deals with a family problem related to Elvira, his wife; but Federico, a single man, knows nothing about babysitting, so he begs Clarita, his secretary, to help him… (Film partially lost. Spain, 1850. In the midst of the electoral campaign, three young men use all their strategies to place themselves in Madrid as members of the national congress.

While watching on television a bullfight where his son Luis acts, the matador Rafael Lucena dies of a heart attack upon discovering Virginia in the bullring, a woman who looks like Soledad. Soledad was his father ‘s, Manuel Lucena, great love. Both Luis and his brother Alejandro meet the singer Virginia and fall in love with her but when Luis suffers serious goring, he begins to think that Virginia brings bad luck.

Things go terribly wrong for Federico. He lost his job as professor of Latin and his girlfriend has left him for a dental technician. So, he decides to commit suicide. After several failed attempts, including the throw from the Roman aqueduct of Segovia, he decides to take advantage of his decision and get rid of a society that has been hostile. Remake of a 1942 film by the same director, Rafael Gil.

The old hidalgo Don Alonso Quijano, maddened by the excessive reading of books on chivalry and determined to become a famous and heroic knight-errant, leaves his village and sets out on the road in search of adventure, accompanied by his faithful friend Sancho Panza.

A young musician and dreamy, called "Ernesto", is forced to live in Madrid to die his father, in the house of executor of the testament, "don Julio Villamil", who is married to actress Teresa Labisbal, of which "Ernesto Acedo" was enamored platonic. Although the conduct of the young is flawless, a third person causes slander which oblige "don Julio" to fight in mourning to death.
