The Old Man and the Enemy

World War II. Italian fascists have interned in the South a lot of people who fought them on the 7th of April 1939 when they came to Albania. Among them, there's an old man whom they call "Daja" (uncle), who fought along with the youth.

The Guerrilla Unit

During WWII in Albania, partisans assassinate the collaborationist Colonel Makareci and destroy an enemy arsenal, but betrayal leads to guerrilla fighter Drita to be captured. When Pedro is ordered to execute her to prove loyalty, he reveals his identity and comrades mount a daring rescue, capturing the fascist police chief.

Circus in the Village

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

When his family moves from their home in Berlin to a strange new house in Poland, young Bruno befriends Shmuel, a boy who lives on the other side of the fence where everyone seems to be wearing striped pajamas.
