Animators from the distant future fly to another planet to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Soviet animation. Once in a meteor shower, the spaceship makes an emergency landing on an unknown planet, where live monsters with the ability to transform. Unknown formless creatures attack the ship and take away all things from there, along with films on which were recorded cartoons for display. While watching the collection of the best Soviet cartoons, monsters, being very impressed by what they saw, turn into cartoon characters, after which they decide to make peace with people and help them get everything back in place.

The cartoon consists of three plots, "The Alchemist," "Our House," and "The Money Changers." In the first cartoon, a two-year-old schoolboy, resorting to chemistry, which he also does not know, tries to get the two out of the diary. The second cartoon tells about an apartment building that is only 10 years old, but looks like 100. And as a little girl, by her example, she forced the boys to look at their native home with completely different eyes. And the main thing is that now they will not paint the walls, but will love their home. The third cartoon is about a money changer boy who changes everything: glasses for old stamps, and stamps for an elephant in a zoo, a dog for a cat, and a cat for a mouse, and he changed the mouse for a bruise and a bump… And only I couldn't change the two to the five.

Based on a fairy tale by J. Aiken, the film tells the story of a journey on an apple pie, into which the hostess accidentally baked a piece of sky. The hospitable hosts of the flying pie gather a motley crew that embodies friendship and mutual understanding.

A story how traffic inspector Mamochkin punished someone who had disturbed public order.

There was a priest in the village and he had a dog. The priest owned a big shed in which he kept a huge amount of meat. The dog guarded this shed from other dogs, but one day the dog could not resist and ate one of the sausages. The priest noticed this and killed his pet. Then he buried the dog near the fence and made an inscription: "Priest had a dog, he loved it, it ate a piece of meat, he killed it, buried it in the ground, and wrote this inscription so that...", but, fixated, begins to write it on the ground. Thus he, continuing to write, visits various parts and countries, and eventually returns to his home and finishes writing near the place where he buried his dog. But upon entering the barn, the priest sees various animals greedily eating everything in it.
