In the distant technological future, civilization has reached its ultimate Net-based form. The film is a compilation of the first season, featuring new scenes and remastered sound effects. The story follows Nagate Tanikaze, who has spent his entire life living deep beneath Sidonia’s surface. While searching for food, he ventures above ground for the first time and discovers humanity’s ongoing struggle to survive against the Gauna.
