In this documentary, the members of the University of British Columbia's Thunderbirds hockey team travel to China to demonstrate their skills to the new teams in the East. While hockey there still has a long way to go, this film leaves no doubt that the Chinese players are up to the challenge. A film propelled by discoveries, it goes a long way to providing insight into the differences between East and West.

Les Rose directs this endearing independent film about a con man named Busher (Richard Gabourie) who travels from town to town. He ups his ante when he takes under his wing and joins forces with a 13-year-old runaway foster boy, Toby (Chris Langevin). Along the way, they add a third member, a very bright woman, to their team and together plan a risky con that will set them up for the rest of their lives.

The Fraggles are a fun-loving community of creatures who live in a subterranean fantasy land where they love to play, sing and dance their cares away, sharing their world with the tiny Doozers and the giant Gorgs. The series teaches empathy and tolerance and encourages children to understand people different from themselves.

A boy, expelled from military school, returns home to his fathers disappointment. He discovers that a motorcycle gang has been terrorizing his high school, and falls in love with the girlfriend of the gang's leader. He battles the gang, and wins both the admiration of his father and the love of the girl.

Susan Anspach stars in this comedy as a news reporter who investigates a story about stolen milk causing milk and gas prices to rise. During the course of her investigation, other people become involved, culminating in a multiple car chase.

From a quiet, neglected corner of Nova Scotia, a meeting with the Black community that shows both the traditional attitudes of the older generation and the more alert, resolved stance of the young. The old still pin their hopes on the church and the preacher, while the young look more towards the Black United Front and its roving director. For both generations change is a challenge. The common hope is for a fuller life.
