When Juha as an adult performs the show – My Life As A Comedian- to sold out theatres and tells the horrid and funny stories from his childhood to the audience he gets an unexpected visit from an old friend from school which makes him return to Sävbyholm and deal with his past.

When youth worker Nic crosses paths with Elijah, a troubled teenager with undeniable basketball talent, he sees more than just a boy in need of help. Determined to steer him away from a destructive path, Nic takes Elijah under his wing, risking personal and professional boundaries to help him realize his potential both on and off the court. The year is 1941 in Sweden and Astrid seeks independence by trying to become a train conductor. On the train she meets an older passenger Dora, which she feels attracted to. Astrid also faces a more dark and hostile world on board as she discovers that the staff has put in system to reject unwanted passengers such as Romans and Jews.

A long anticipated fireworks celebration that could break the somberly atmosphere is cancelled at the last minute – a decision that could be life changing for all involved.

In an ordinary Swedish apartment complex, the fate of seven young people lies in the hands of an adult society that has forgotten them. Dreams and a desire to "belong" carry them through a powerless existence filled with bullying, assault and sexual harassment. When a gun appears one day, they finally have power in their hands. A power that comes at a high price. Who will get the first bullet in them..?

What about the future, is there any? A story about six teenagers in a suburb to Stockholm. Six Swedish youngsters with parents from different parts of the world. What are their chances for a dissent life, outside their suburb?
