A Brazilian musical comedy

This comedy tells the confusion created by Dante Rossi, owner of a pizza restaurant in Braz, namesake of a powerful industrial São Paulo. This coincidence, arranged by good luck, enabled him to lie for many years, writing letters to his brother in Italy in which he said that he had "made America". His brother, delighted with so many wonders, decides to visit the fake millionaire. But Dante can borrow with other immigrants without fortune, but attached to the idea of appearing great life.

The plot unfolds across two distinct worlds: Dr. Cristiano Navarro’s hospital and an impoverished neighborhood on the outskirts of São Paulo. While doctors at the hospital fight to save lives using state-of-the-art medical technology, young Emanuel—living in the neighborhood—demonstrates the ability to perform miraculous, extraordinary healings with just the touch of his hands. Dr. Cristiano is married to Linda, a wealthy, refined woman twenty years his junior. They long for a child but have been unable to conceive. Linda consults Dr. Paula, a renowned gynecologist, but the doctor cannot resolve their issue. Linda then decides to seek help from Emanuel, sparking a series of conflicts with her husband. However, things are far from ideal in Emanuel’s neighborhood. He possesses paranormal abilities that sometimes manifest in ways beyond his control. An enigmatic and unpredictable man, Emanuel fears his own powers.

Sílvia Nogalis, a renowned concert pianist, prefers her career to her marriage. On the night she performs Beethoven's "Appassionata", she learns of the death of her husband, maestro Walter Hauser.

However, one of his men, Teodoro, falls in love and flees with her through the arid backcountry chased by the brigands.

A man's farm is attacked and his mother gets killed. Looking for revenge, he goes about chasing the men who killed her.

In São Paulo, a businessman wants to rehabilitate street children, called "trombinhas", through a social project. After being discouraged by the police, he seeks help from the coach of the Santos Futebol Clube youth team.
