Dempseyroll: confessions

Byung-gu, a once-famous former professional boxer, makes ends meet doing odd jobs at the gym. While eager to start boxing again, he gets diagnosed with "punch drunk syndrome," a condition caused by cerebral concussions. One day, a new member of the gym arrives and volunteers to help Byung-gu.

seg.1) Jong-soo misses his roomate Yeong-joo, who is gone. He's embarassed he misses someone who wasn't even his lover, but a close roomate. Meanwhile, Yeong-joo knew this day would come. seg.2) Min-ha is full of vitality. Ki-cheol lives in the greenhouse built by her. They've lived together for almost three years. One day Ji-hye bumps in between them. seg.3) Lovers Yoon and Cheol decide to spend a day up in the mountains. However, Yoon suddenly pours her heart out on all the things she was upset about at Cheol. seg.4) Sang-won is working at an electronics department and having a secret relationship with an elderly woman who is from the store across. As spring approaches Sang-won starts to feel weak. seg.5) One warm afternoon, Min-jae was taking a nap and Ji-hong woke him up. seg.6) Byeong-goo, a former boxer has been caught in a punch-drunk. Byeong-Gu realizes he doesn't have much time life and starts boxing again.

Eugene, a film school graduate, came to Poland to meet her old friends. Dongchul, who also studied film, came to Ukraine to meet his old friends also. They travel separately through Europe, visiting their own cities, and waiting for their own objects to arrive a few days later. Sometimes they imagine the movie they want to make.

Yeo-young, an aspiring writer, travels to Haenam to write. She stays at a friend’s house, and peaceful days continue with her taking walks, weeding the yard, and drinking with her friend. But she doesn’t write.

Hyun-chul and Won-sik finally decide to quit their graduation film. They fly to Laos with the films budget. Jung-hwan who once studied films with them greets them there. Three of them plan to make money by selling multiple vitamins in Laos and complete their wonderful feature scenario at this fantastic place and come back to their homeland. In this way, their partnership begins. But a mysterious taxi driver and a North Korean interrupt their work.
