Belo Monte: Announcement of a War

The Water Law is a Brazilian documentary that explains the relationship between the new Forest Code and the Brazilian water crisis.

This documentary captures the environmental and societal impact of Brazil's Cerrado savanna suffering from severe deforestation and the attempts to defend this biome from extinction.

Amid São Paulo’s rapid urbanization, Praça Homero Silva endures as a green refuge and a symbol of community, memory, and ecological balance. The documentary sheds light on the social, environmental, and cultural significance of this space, known for its many natural springs and its extensive area of native vegetation. By highlighting the community’s relationship with the square, the film invites reflection on the preservation of common goods and the right to the city.
