The life of a Cuban worker is confronted when his mother, who flew to Miami abandoning him when he was an adolescent, announces her arrival and intention to stay with him, in her old apartment in La Habana.

A biting satire about life in contemporary Cuba. It reflects the transformation which a woman undergoes in the crisis of personal fulfillment that her husband is going through. In the middle of a complex process, marked by contradictions and failures, she will grow and express her independence as a human being. She will be another woman, determined to continue the difficult and unknown daily struggle.

Xavier Mina accepted the commission to lead a liberating expedition in support of General Morelos.
