Hasil Adkins: The Wild World of Hasil Adkins

Produced by Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine for MTV and Dickhouse Productions, The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia is a documentary about the renowned West Virginia outlaw Jesco White and his eccentric backwoods family. In addition to getting in trouble with the law, the Whites, who live deep within Appalachia, uphold a time-honored dancing style, even as they contend with poverty, drugs and other issues. Alternately humorous and sad, the movie is an unflinching look at life on the criminal margins of rural mountain culture.

The escapades of three bear siblings who decide they have to start selling drugs in order to raise money and save their home after gas companies start fracking next to their cave. The bears soon enlist other forest animals in a scheme that will pit them against oil companies, The Russian Mafia, local Hell’s Angels and polar bears who hate anything that isn’t white.

A "Cops"-styled TV show tapes the arrest of a man charged with selling home made speed. His mother, seeing the broadcast, dies of a heart attack on the spot. His wife then decides to join with her drug addled sister and decide to rob a convenience store to get the money for the bond and for the funeral expenses. However, upon arriving they find the store already being robbed. Deciding to rob the robber, they give chase and end up killing him - only to find that it is the husband just released from jail. Events follow that places the two sisters at odds with each other.
