Satoshi: A Move for Tomorrow

Based on the novel of the same name by Jirō Asada. Three adult children visit their mother living in the countryside, each at separate times, but things aren't really what they seem to be.

Hajime Aoyama runs the mobile coffee shop Tako Coffee. Riding in his coffee truck, he goes from street to street. Along the way, he comforts those with wounded hearts and minds. Hajime Aoyama appears carefree, but he has a secret.

The eldest daughter of Detective Shibasaki Sachio from the First Investigation Division is found stabbed to death. He goes after the truth with Kawasumi Shigekatsu, a junior detective who respects Shibasaki as his mentor in life and is a close family friend. However, the hard work of the police is in vain. There are no developments due to the numerous questionable points at the crime scene and case goes unsolved. 15 years later, Shibasaki is retired and quietly spending the rest of his life looking after his wife Miwako who is seriously ill. However, the situation suddenly changes with the establishment of a unit specialising in re-investigating unsolved cases. Kawasumi also joins them. As the case is being reexamined, the existence of man who is believed to be the criminal emerges.

Although Mutta failed to follow through on his childhood promise, after losing his job, he receives a phone call from Hibito which reignites his childhood dream of flying into outer space ...

"A world" - After graduating from a university, close friends Takashi Tsurug and Tomohiko Miwa begin work at a company which does brain research. One day, Tomohiko introduces Mayuko Tsuno as his girlfriend. Takashi is stunned. When he was a university student, Takashi saw Mayuko Tsuno every day on the train opposite from the one he rode. He became attracted to her back then. "B world" - When Takashi Tsurug wakes up, his girlfriend Mayuko Tsuno makes breakfast as usual at his apartment. His friend Tomohiko Miwa introduced him to Mayuko and they have lived happily as a couple. Everything seems to be going smoothly, but Takashi begins to have doubts. Tomohiko, who worked with him at the same company, disappears and he can't discern if his memory is real or imaginary.

Miharu and Hana are not happy living in the city. They decide to start a new life in the small town of Shirakawa in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. They learn about living in a rural country area and face difficulties.
