A Town in Fog

One day, the beggar empire of Chao Pho Ngo is thrown into turmoil when the Tai Ko beggar gang attempts to overthrow his operation and murders one of his men. Chang, Chao Pho Ngo’s most skilled beggar, rallies the others to launch a decisive attack against the Tai Ko group— even if it means killing one another to the last.

In a Thai village childhood friends Kwen and Sompan are looking forward to make the world a better place within their ideology and beliefs. Kwen is a communist and Sompan is a monk. The film is a subtle metaphor for the troubled Thai political situation of the 1970's.

The story of a kind monk named by the own people as LUANG-TA. Other than doing his regular religious chores, he also helps people and society in many ways such as taking care of the orphans and the less fortunate in society. Also give advises to prostitutes and wanderers.

Raya grew up during the time when the Japanese forces were invading Thailand. Together with Captain Rome-run, a Thai army officer, Sae-ree Thai movement, the Thai freedom fighters, they interrupt the Japanese forces in every way they can. There she meets a rich man and becomes her lover. She starts to go back home very late and doesn't go to her daughter's school activities. Following arguments between Tom and Reusi, they finally agree to divorce and Reusi announce to him that he is not the real father of their daughter! The slum is also full of robers and drug sellers. What a damned life...

Khun Nu was always a good girl at home, paying polite attention to her parents. But she change when she got involved with a group of young women at the university. They partied and lived a dissolute wild life. Khun Nu fell in love with flirtatious young man, got pregnant and started to drink heavily. Things got violent an she was abandoned.

Joon comes from a wealthy family, but he has never been himself, his parents dictate everything for him to do, even about his girlfriend. Her boss and his men are coming to make her shut up, because she has seen and knows too much, but Tod sees the images of the enemy coming to attack him and Tada, so he kills them all.

Fak, a young man once beloved by the villagers, lives with Somsong, a mentally unstable woman who became his father’s new wife. After his father’s death, Fak is left to care for Somsong, who is despised by the community. Over time, rumors spread that the two share an illicit relationship, causing Fak’s life to fall into ruin—solely due to the judgment passed by the villagers.
