When a young boy finds himself alone in the world when his adoptive father disappears after a fight, his first thought is to go to Shaolin.

After witnessing the brutal murder of his mother, Ma-ryong grows up intent on revenge and sets out to become a master of martial arts. When Ma-ryong kills his mother’s murderer, Il-pyung, the son of Ma-ryong’s enemy, seeks a master to learn how to fight. Ma-ryong and Il-pyung form a bond as master and apprentice leading to an inevitable showdown.

Two brothers, Hyuk and Bin, live in a small coal mining village. Hyuk, the younger of the two, works hard as a coal miner to make ends meet. On the other hand, Bin becomes a slave to gambling and leads a wretched life. Bin soon becomes a casualty of a greedy gangster named Gang-ho who wants to reshape the mine for profit-making facilities. Hyuk enters the world of underground fight ring to avenge the wrongful death of his brother.

Ae-rang is a celebrated gisaeng who has the ability to knock out any man in the world with the flick of her hand or skirt and in the blink of an eye. She's got the men eating out of her hands with bedtime techniques that no one else knows about. One day, an impregnable man who won't date anyone is assigned to her village. The magistrate and Ae-rang secretly bet that she will or won't be able to have him begging for her.

Director Yim Pil-Sung travels to Bali to shoot erotic horror movie "Beach of Madness". While shooting the film, Yim Pil-Sung becomes disappointed with the boring erotic scenes. He decides to bring in brilliant erotic film director Bong Man-Dae to add spice to the film. Bong Man-Dae's appearance on the shooting set in Bali makes the staff and cast nervous.All actresses are not happy with the situation at all. Bong Man-Dae demands more nudity for the erotic scenes, which goes beyond what the actresses signed up for. The actresses decide to oppose his decision.

Jeong-min, a scenario writer, was recently dumped by his girlfriend who left for another man. No matter how much he begs she never seems to return to him. To forget everything and concentrate on his scenario, Jeong-min stays in a small inn in a remote country town. There he meets an attractive teenage girl, Yoo-mi who lives with the mysterious landlord.

Upon his release from prison, Hyuk turns away his girlfriend Mina who has come to greet him. He admonishes her to forget about him. He finds a job at a pool hall but it seems trouble follows Hyuk around. He gets in the middle of a gang fight and ends up saving gang leader Ju-cheol. As a token of gratitude, Ju-cheol gives a slice of his own territory to Hyuk. Kyung-suk, Ju-cheol's right hand man, becomes threatened by Hyuk and so challenges him to a fight. The loser has to leave the area for good. Kyung-suk ends up losing the fight and he takes off for Tae-baek, a mountainous city. There, he becomes a faithful member of Kang-ho's gang and kidnaps Hyuk's former martial arts master. Ju-cheol asks Hyuk to help the martial arts master who also happens to be his friend. Hyuk returns to his hometown of Tae-baek only to find that Kyung-suk has kidnapped his old flame Mina. Hyuk, vowing vengeance, goes underground to find and rescue the two most important people in his life.
