The Fullness of Time (Romance)

In the early morning fog, on a snowy road, a shock on the hood of Macha’s car : this is Mo, her 17-year-old son, with whom she broke all ties. Through mountains, the son takes his mother for their last journey together. Today, Mo will join mountain infantrymen, elite soldiers in the French military.

In the northern Alps, Anne, Hélène and Suzanne take turns looking after a mountain hut. Through the seasons, hikers come and go. Stories bloom and fade, leaving each of them facing the silence of their chosen solitude and the poetry of nature.

One night. On the deserted ski slopes, the nocturnal outing of the snow-grooming machines is being prepared. Twenty-five-year-old Antoine meets up with his team. Right in the middle of the world the hypnotic ballet of the machines, which tirelessly shape the landscape, begins. The mountain rumbles suddenly. Immobilized in the night, Antoine begins a journey in the interval where the myths of a mountain, both feared and venerated, are embodied.

One summer, divers locate hidden weapons dating back to WWII in a lake. Louison's grandmother is said to be involved. Along with other comrades, she allegedly refused to surrender her weapons.
