Blind Sky

This is a film about the life of a family of marginal thiefs, and how destiny punishes each and every one of its members. A constant contrast between a violent and a domestic world, in which violence, humor and irony, give a new layer to the social and moral conflicts of the characters. A lost house in a forest, an underground bar, a prison, a bus, fields and highways, are the spaces on which thieves, truckers, cooks and hookers collide.

Algo habrán hecho por la historia de Chile

Series that narrates the history of Chile, from the Spanish colonization by Pedro de Valdivia and the begin of the Arauco War, to the Centennial of Chile in 1910. The show uses two main styles, jumping from one to the other. One style is the use of actors to represent certain key events. The second style is the plain explanation of the things taking place, which could be done with visual gags, with the hosts in some modern day location, or at a representation of an event.

A teenager visits his mother in search of affection. She lives semi isolated from the world, on a house facing the sea and in the company of a woman. The meeting of both characters will be rather a disagreement that will throw the young man towards other characters that will be moving further away from his mother until he disappears. Only at that moment will she feel the weight of his absence.

Besieged

For three years, 500 Spaniards brutally attacked the indigenous peoples native in the south of Chile. This story is told from the perspective of the colonizing army as they are almost completely eliminated in their attempt to conquer a foreign land.

Rojo: La película

A Chilean talent show in the mold of "American Idol," "Rojo" became a huge hit the moment it hit the airwaves. This comic series puts a fictional spin on all the backstage drama: the backstabbing, the ruthless competition and the passionate abandon. Further blurring the line between fantasy and reality, several of the show's big stars -- including Monserrat Bustamante, Mario Guerrero and Yamna Lobos -- appear as pseudo versions of themselves.
