In the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. Partially inspired by Mike Judge’s own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late ‘80s, Silicon Valley is an American sitcom that centers around six programmers who are living together and trying to make it big in the Silicon Valley.

Anna is followed everywhere she goes by a creepy pale assailant with a knife. She doesn't seem to be very afraid. She marches coldly through her day, ignoring him, going about her business. Her stalker looks threatening but his manner seems to suggest that he is just a confused social outcast, trapped in an obsessive, repetitive rut that revolves around Anna. It becomes clear that the line between assailant and victim has begun to break down and that the roles in this relationship are now unclear. Anna has begun to rely on her stalker's presence. She even allows him to carry her groceries. Is the albino stalking her or watching over her? Anna obtains a retraining order against her stalker but she still worries about him, huddled outside her home on a cold, windy night. Neither of them seem able to disrupt or end their oddly comforting, creepy codependent relationship.

Despite their opposing personalities, a talented but directionless P.I. who is the black sheep of his family begrudgingly agrees to work as the in-house investigator for his overbearing mother, a successful attorney reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage.

Martin Best is a brilliant surgeon who abruptly leaves his illustrious career in Boston to become the general practitioner in a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent summers as a child. Unfortunately, Martin's blunt and borderline rude bedside manner rubs the quirky, needy locals the wrong way, and he quickly alienates the town, even though he's all they’ve got.

A fresh and funny take on modern friendship and what one urban family will do to stay friends after the perfect couple who brought them all together break up on their wedding day. The failed wedding forces them all to question their life choices. Then there are Alex and Dave themselves, who strike a truce and must learn to live with the changes their breakup has brought.

Leslie is left with few options when her husband is sent back to war in the Middle East. A modest amount of help arrives in the form of his brother, Salman, who is less than prepared to care for the couple's two preadolescent boys. When Leslie still can't make ends meet on her own, Salman is forced to find employment, but, with minimal qualifications, his only option is to become a mascot for a digital company by donning a bulbous blue costume.
