Roupa Nova retorna à cena musical com versões acústicas para sucessos como "Whisky A Gogô", "Sapato Velho", "Dona", "Linda Demais" e "Volta Pra Mim". O álbum traz também as inéditas "Flor Da Pele", "Razão De Viver" e "Já Nem Sei Mais", além das participações de Ed Motta e Chitãozinho e Xororó. Acústico MTV é o álbum acústico da banda brasileira Capital Inicial, lançado em formato CD e DVD. Ele faz parte da série Acústico MTV da emissora MTV Brasil. Foi lançado em 2000. O álbum fez grande sucesso e emplacou seis músicas nas paradas musicais (Tudo Que Vai, Primeiros Erros, Natasha, Cai a Noite, Independência e Fogo), consagrando o ressurgimento estrondoso da banda, que teve início no álbum Atrás dos Olhos, lançado em 1998. Os convidados especiais para esta performance foram: Kiko Zambianchi (que, em nota, afirmou à Revista MTV que fora convidado porque "ninguém na banda sabia tocar violão") e Zélia Duncan.

A Fazenda is the current Brazilian version of the The Farm reality television show based on the Swedish television series of the same name that was originally created in 2001 by Strix and produced in association with Sony Entertainment and Endemol. The show is based on a group of celebrities living together twenty-four hours a day in a Farm, isolated from the outside world while having all their steps followed by cameras around-the-clock, with no privacy for three months. The contestants compete for the chance to win the grand prize by avoiding weekly eviction, until the last celebrity remains at the end of the season that can claim the grand prize. The show is presented by news reporter Britto Junior alongside actress Chris Couto and directed by Rodrigo Carelli. Ten years after the passing of David Bowie, Brazilian artist Seu Jorge revisits the repertoire that shaped a defining chapter of his career. His Portuguese interpretations were first created for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, directed by Wes Anderson, sparking a deep artistic connection with Bowie's work. After years of touring worldwide — and a final performance without a live audience during the 2020 pandemic — he returns to these songs in a special coastal live stream in São Paulo. Now, an edited version of that performance stands as a tribute to Bowie's enduring legacy.

Acústico MTV spans Gal Costa's career very thoroughly. What is very different here is the presentation of the material. Backed up by a lush orchestra (the Petrobrás Pró Música Orchestra), some of Gal's old hits have a beautiful new sound. Even some of her early songs, such as "Baby" and "Não Identificado," are more subdued. As a whole, the CD does show a more mature and secure performer. As added bonuses, Gal invites a few guests to sing with her. Having introduced Luiz Melodia to Brazil, Gal brings him back in "Pérola Negra," one great moment in the CD. Continuing the list of guests, Gal then introduces a new name in 1997: Zeca Baleiro. Their duet in "A Flor da Pele" is hauntingly beautiful and the most beautiful track in Acústico MTV. Targeting the younger MTV crowd, two names from Brazilian rock lend their voices in two additional duets.

This performance by Gilberto Gil was recorded live at Estúdio Frame in São Paulo on January 18, 1994, as part of the MTV Unplugged series. It was originally broadcast on MTV later that year and released in 1994 on CD, LP and cassette. In 2001, the concert was also issued on home video DVD. The set featured songs such as "A novidade", "Drão", "Expresso 2222", "Aquele abraço", "Palco" and "Tempo Rei". Gil (vocals and acoustic guitar) was accompanied by Arthur Maia (acoustic bass guitar and double bass), Jorginho Gomes (drums and mandolin), Celso Fonseca (acoustic guitar), Marcos Suzano (percussion) and Lucas Santtana (flute).
