O Dia de Jerusa

"A Day with Jerusa" follows Silvia, a young, mediumic market researcher facing the hardships of underemployment while awaiting the result of a public exam, and Jerusa, a gracious 77-year-old lady, eyewitness to the daily life on Bixiga, a neighborhood filled with ancestral memories. On Jerusa's birthday, while she waits for her family's arrival, the encounter between her deepest memories and Silvia's mediumship allows them to travel through time and realities common to their ancestry.

Experience Roque's routine years after the first movie. Joana's tenement is still full of parties, gossip and confusion. The neighborhood prepares for the Iemanjá party, while dealing with the controversies of the neighbors.

Province of São Paulo, 1870. An enslaved man flees through a dense forest in search of a supposed quilombo. On his heels are two "capitães-do-mato" with orders to capture him at all costs. But the forest, in its depths, harbors mysteries and ghosts capable of surrounding them in a trap.

Five documentary filmmakers were invited to dive into the collection of the Museu da Pessoa and to propose rereadings and authorclippings from the life stories of Brazilians who passed through the museum.
