The Magnificent Duo

In an effort to take advantage of the political chaos during the reign of King Ko-jong, the emporer of Japan sends several warriors to infiltrate Korea. The son of the nation's top martial arts teacher, who has been studying dance and Buddhism, proves that he is a warrior as well as an artist by fighting off the invaders with Taekwondo.

Ok-bun had been sold into marriage to the family of Lee Kyung-jin, a family in ruin. On the wedding night, Ok-bun's husband, Myung-kyu dies of odd circumstances. Ok-bun finds out that her sister-in-laws Kyung-ran and Young-suk, who've married Myung-kyu's brothers, were also widowed on their wedding nights. Meanwhile, Wol-ah appears from the grave. She murders Shin and takes his form. Wol-ah goes into the household of Lee Kyung-jin and from that day on, strange happenings occur in succession. Kyung-ran and Young-suk are murdered. Ok-bun goes to Wol-ah's grave and tries to tell her this but it is too late. Wol-ah tries to kill Ok-bun too. But she tells the hardships and sorrows of low-class people and moves Wol-ah's heart. Ok-bun barely escapes with her life.

A rumor surfaces that the fighting scriptures, 'Dharma's Secret Technique,' written by the Buddhist priest, Dharma, is secretly hidden in a Buddhist temple in China. The masters who love justice and the warriors of the Biryong Fighting Hall search high and low for the scriptures. Seo Chun-wi has come from Koryo to avenge himself against his parents' enemies. Chun-wi becomes the disciple of the greatest fighting master Tae-baek. He receives 'Dharma's Secret Technique' and begins his training. However, Ma Chun-pyo and his gang have been eyeing the scriptures. They put drugs in Chun-wi's tea and defeat him. They seize 'Dharma's Secret Technique' and even kill Ah-min, Chun-wi's girlfriend. However, through incredible efforts, Chun-wi regains his strength and makes a clean sweep of Chun-pyo and his gang. Chun-wi punishes Suk-in, the enemy of his parents, and returns to his home country.

When Kang Shi-baek's head was about to be cut off, two of the masters Mok-ryun show up and rid of Hwang-baek group. Chon-ryong matches against and beats Hwang-baek and leaves with Chung-chung.
