A young man has to return in Morocco to bury his father.

A painter from the big city goes to a remote canyon to commit suicide. To reach some calmness he stays at the farmstead of Ascen, an old religious woman. Although only a few words are spoken, love grows.

During the absence of Philipp, in his house appears the stranger, who calls himself Boris. He says that he was the school comrade of Philipp and it arrived to visit old friend. Boris charms all households and remains to await Philipp. Only one Andre- Pierre distrustful relates to the stranger.

Stevie, a precocious 14-year-old girl must cope with the instabilities of her immoderate parents. When they decide to move to a small provincial town in Germany, Stevie attempts to slip into a normal life. Whilst her parents playfully escape their responsibilities, Stevie tries to make a good impression in town, spreading stories of grandeur and claiming to be the daughter of a diplomat. She makes progress. Yet the good weather doesn’t last and before long, she discovers that her parents have once more resorted to illegal means, as a way of supporting their leisurely lifestyle. As friends and hangers-on of her parents fill their new home, the chaos continually mounts. It is in this atmosphere of physical and emotional destruction, that Stevie must now start to define herself and perhaps even break free.

Set in Mexico City, Carlos Reygadas's sexually explicit drama centers on a man in turmoil over his past actions. Chauffer Marcos feels compelled to reveal a dark secret to his boss's daughter, Ana, a wealthy woman who works as a prostitute just for the thrill of it. Marcos confesses that he and his wife committed a crime that ended in horrible tragedy. Haunted by his past, Marcos searches for redemption.

Thirty year-old Azul looses her husband and son in a violent car crash. She is the sole survivor of the tragedy. Burnded and broken, she escapes from the city, and seeks refuge in a small hut on a deserted beach, in an attempt to rebuild herself and to forget. But it's impossible. She can't swallow anything. In her weakness, she starts seeing mirages, and begins to sink slowly into dementia. Her sister tries to rescue her, but in vain. A wandering dog follows her about, her last travel companion... Her encounter with a fisherman suddendly triggers a flicker of hope. Azul wants to believe in a miracle : to replace one child with another, one life with another...

A short film, Bergmanesque and surrealist in tone, shot in black & white 8mm. A man, a coffin, a cliff. Yet not without humour.

Helena is a talented singer in Buenos Aires. Just as she and her band get a residency at a prestigious theater in the city, the boyfriend she's mad about coldly announces that he doesn't love her any more. The film is punctuated by intense bursts of tango. Every song moves the story along, providing an insight into the characters and access to the protagonist's feelings: nostalgia, passion, sadness, and joy in turn. The lyrical and musical wealth of tango, brilliantly performed by Eugenia Ramírez Miori, unites the two stories, past and present. 'La cantante de tango' is a poignant auteur film about a woman trying to get back on her feet after a devastating break-up.
