Vajgant receives an anonymous letter that warns him of his wife's infidelity. His friend, the opportunist Tonda, advises him to throw away the letter and instead devote more time to Magda...

The mysterious story of a young girl Pavla, who mysteriously disappeared from her mother five years ago, takes place in the dark corners of the Bratislava port. The girl was kidnapped by the hypnotist Lascani, who performs in a variety show and has just arrived in Pavla's hometown on his travels. He completely controls his victim and Pavla doesn't remember anything. She has to act as his "medium" with Lascani and even has to be his lover. However, a young boatman, Franta, falls in love with the girl and tries to free her...

He also wanted to get him together with his pretty ward Zorka, for whom he said he would be an ideal husband, but the young people were able to do that by themselves and without his clumsy help, or rather despite his rather ineffective help... The film was shown at the VI. IFF in Venice in 1938.

The main character is a newly appointed associate professor MUDr. Jakub Johánek, a psychiatrist and timid teetotaler, who decides to celebrate his appointment with friends in a nightclub. And now, as soon as his brain has recovered from the attack of an unprecedented amount of alcohol, his neighbor's enterprising roommate informs him that he had disgraced Kateřina while drunk, in order to help his friend, who also loves the nice and well-off doctor, in a somewhat peculiar way.

Samo, Sandi, and Krištof are preparing for their final exams. They come up with a plan to get hold of the math exam questions with the help of the professor's daughter, nicknamed Hyperbola. Since they don't know her real name, they call her Vesna (Spring). Unexpectedly, the professor's real daughter, the attractive Janja, shows up on a date. Samo and Vesna fall in love and the story begins to unfold rapidly. Samo invites Vesna (Janja) for a ride in a glider. They have to make an emergency landing. Sandi, happy that they finally got their assignments, fights with Samo over them. Samo gets injured and can't go on a date with Vesna. Sandi goes on the date instead, trying to win Vesna over. She scolds him and he reveals the truth that they drew lots for Vesna. Because of this, Vesna wants to kill herself. She jumps with a parachute, hoping it won't open. Everything turns out fine, and the parachute opens.
