Rounding Up the Law

Silent western starring Wolfheart the dog. A band of settlers on the Oregon Trail is attacked by outlaws, who steal their horses. The horses are returned and the outlaws chased off by three cowboys who just happen to pass by. Years later, the three cowboys again save the settlers when they are threatened by some rebellious farm-workers.

Forced to wear quaint short dresses and pigtails so that she will inspire her grandfather's sentimental poetry, nineteen-year-old Joy Havenith longs for companions of her own age.

The Hollisters, a bright, spirited, wholesome family, are compelled to move into the country. After many efforts to secure a home, Shirley, eldest of the Hollisters, contrives a way out by renting a magnificent old stone barn at a ridiculously low price, transforming it into a house. The owner of the barn is not an ordinary landlord, as you will see, for he is a young man with fine ideals, and he is not content with establishing Shirley and her family in the quaintly beautiful old place, but makes the world a much happier place to live in for all of them.

A beautiful young girl is being forced to marry a crooked real-estate agent by making the girl's brother appear to be a thief. Cowboy Nat Sherwood discovers what's going on and sets out to expose the plot.

Nan Reynolds encourages her copywriter husband Bill to open his own agency. Nearly out of business, he finally gets a client. Former girlfriend Patricia Berkeley writes a very successful commercial for the client and neats up their old romance. Wife and girlfriend struggle over Bill.

When Alden Van Dusen, a third-generation member of a prestigious old New York family, is faced with the alternatives of allowing his firm to go bankrupt or becoming involved in fraud, he decides on suicide. As he is about to drown himself, Alden is attacked by a thug and, in the ensuing struggle, his assailant is killed. Seizing upon the opportunity, Alden changes identities with the dead man and drifts West, where he becomes an employee in his firm's mine.

En route to Sevilla, Central America, Richard Morton rescues a beautiful girl whom he knows only as Dolores from bandits and learns that she also is en route to Sevilla. He arrives to find his father under attack by Sevilla revolutionist. Intending to manage his father's ranch, he instead gets involved with the revolution, saves President Dominguez from his enemy Rodolfo Emanon, and learns that Dolores, who has consented to be his wife, is the president's daughter.
